A perfect day in the Grove

Check out our great Selin's Grove downtown!

Many shops, restaurants, even another brewery - Que Brew-  to be discovered - just click the link above link...then come & explore!

Kayak, Canoe or Tube

Bring your kayak, canoe, or even tube!-  or rent in advance from outfitters in town.
There are several resident Bald Eagles in Selinsgrove and plenty of other critters
to discover on our wide easy going Susquehanna river, (with tons of cool islands to paddle around), Middle and Penn's Creek which both terminate here in the Grove are equally fun & more challenging, if the water isn't low or too high.

TWO Selinsgrove public landings; one on the Susquehanna on Front Street, on the Isle of Que and a gravel one on Penn's Creek at the end of Sassafras and Water Streets at 'Little Norway'.

'Easy River'- Access Susquehanna river at 'Shady Nook' public landing off the 'Old Trail' behind WalMart - a very easy 1-2 hours (or as long as you want/ explore the islands/ picnic/ fish) to Isle of Que public landing in Selinsgrove. You'll need a way back to your vehicle - or someone to collect the driver.  Attempt at your own risk.

'Landing Loop' you can also leave & return from Susquehanna boat landing (if water isn't high paddling upstream  isn't hard at all) & paddle around an island(s) then return.  You could even paddle over to Penn's Landing and back - this return is doable but a workout (especially after a beer there). Attempt at your own risk.

'Penn's Creek' -Access Penns Creek upstream at New Berlin's park,  it's a beautiful 5-6 hour trip (pack a snack), somewhat challenging paddle to the Selinsgrove's landing on the End of Sassafras & Water Streets 'Little Norway' public landing. Again you'll need two vehicles or someone to drive. Attempt at your own risk.
